Like Tiwa and Tee Billz? Floxy breaks up with Hardy

 

If rumour in the city of Owerri is anything to go by, it then means that the city’s frontline singer Chinwendu Florence Izuchukwu aka Floxy has parted ways with her old time manager and friend Chinedu Hardy Nwadike who is just known as Hardy in the industry.

According a close source, the duo have been working together for the past three years when Floxy released and first single ‘Competition’, and he has been a visible figure to her rise in fame in the area and beyond. Should this be true, it will be seen as an open window to a long queue of people who have been seeking for the opportunity to work with the prolific singer and dancer. They would be joining the list of unsuccessful female artiste to male manager relationships that never worked, even though it has not been confirmed that they are dating.

Our source has it that Floxy and Hardy have gone a long way and the breakup will be a sad news for many people who had wished they would be achieving much success together. It is said that what holds to duo is more than music and one Imo State based rapper who spoke to us said that they are like family.

“They are more than artiste and manager. It has been rumoured that they were dated, but I am sure they are not. They are now like family and no one would be thinking anything could separate them” the rapper who spoke under anonymity said.

Memories of Hardy and Floxy together will include the song ‘My Dream’, where Hardy featured the Ebonyi State born singer, while the last and sour part of it would be were comedian MC Banana Mouth publicly said Hardy was sleeping with Floxy and deceiving her. Hardy denied that statement, adding that the comedian was just high with pipe.

Floxy’s last single with Hardy’s O’town Gist outfit was last year, and even when many attributed her inability to release new songs to the loss of her parents, another source has it that fresh dispute came when the singer gained admission into Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Imo State and Hardy started questioning her commitment to their project.

Floxy who only speaks about her career through Hardy when they were together, refused to comment on the issue when contacted, saying it is not her business, while Hardy on the other hand refused to take his calls.
